Physical renovation to the studio is almost done (that’s a really tough 2 weeks) and now I’m starting to work on a new website. I’m doing most of the coding this time, hopefully everything looks fine, eventually. Working on the test site at the moment and looking at integrating several programs into a cohesive site, including a blog. Hopefully it will be fine. 🙂
I haven’t done much by way of new designs – I had a great time working with Kate from Serira Designs to set up Studio Aanya’s Website – a central site featuring the collected designs from most of the artists in the group, since the majority of them do not really have the energy to maintain their respective websites – I figured a cohesive looking setup would be better.
I think currently Serah from Vu D’ici, Kayla from Anastasie Bridal (formerly Pearl-Direct) and Belinda from Chyio has almost completed their uploads online. Rea from reaashlie.com is currently busy completing orders from her site and I’ll probably have to set it up mostly for her till she’s available to upload more items to the site in addition to her own flagship site.
I’m also working to change the design of my own website to reflect the style of my designs as well as to create certain restricted areas to my site for wholesale customers and to an exclusive line called Nymphea – I’m not sure how many will appear online, although they might appear more in magazines if they turn out as planned.
It is not easy working though this – I’m inking contracts with a couple of professionals in their field. Renewed my advertising with modish and indiefixx till the last quarter of the year – I’m looking forward to being more creative this year as well – hopefully better designs will emerge. I reverted to my black background setup, with a slight change props-wise.. re-shot certain images. I think they turned out better but you be the judge 🙂
